Conor Angell, a native of Ireland, studies with Dr.
Robert Bracey while he
pursues his Masters degree in Vocal Performance
at UNCG. At UNCG, he sang
the role of Melchior in the fall production of
Amahl and the Night Visitors and
created the role of Timothy in the
recent world premier of composer Seth
Colaner's He Cried Uncle.
Angell has performed as bass soloist with the
Marion Philharmonic Orchestra
and in Handel's Messiah in Peru, IN. His
credits include complete
and partial roles in Susanah, Candide, Camelot, La
boheme, Don
Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, The Ballad of Baby
Doe, The
Gondoliers, Sweeney Todd, and The Billy Goats Gruff in Indiana,
Greensboro, and the Janiec Opera Company at Brevard Music
Center.
