Bio

     Seth Colaner (b.1982), an Ohio native, has studied composition with Donald Busarow and Steven Winteregg at Wittenberg University and with Tom Dempster and Mark Engebretson at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. 

      Seth has written incidental music for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (2003) directed by Anthony Cornish and “Our Country’s Good” (2004), both Wittenberg University theater productions.  His music has been performed by various small ensembles in Ohio, Iowa, and North Carolina, by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, and in Poland by cellist Daniel Kazez.  Seth’s music includes works for voice, mixed ensembles, solo instruments, brass quintet, string quartet, electronic media, incidental music for the stage, orchestra, and opera.
